You Belong Here
We cannot wait to meet you! Here you can find an overview of what to expect at your first appointments. We want you to feel welcome and relaxed in our office, so do not hesitate to reach out with any questions you have.

First Visit
Your first appointment will be your New Patient Exam. This step gives Dr. Moretti crucial information about your nervous system's function. When you arrive, our office manager, Lilah, will greet you and hand you our intake paperwork.
During your exam, Dr. Moretti will gather important information about your health history. You will also be given a gown to change into to give Dr. Moretti access to your spine. He will perform a range of motion test, posture checks, and a thorough examination of your spine. He will also scan your spine using thermography to check for nerve stress. Before your second visit, Dr. Moretti will review your exam results, and any potential out-of-house xrays that he requires, in order to give you the highest quality care and safest adjustment. He does not adjust new patients on their first appointment.

Second Visit
The next time you come, Dr. Moretti will explain your exam results and give you his recommendation for care. You will receive your first adjustment on this day! When you leave, you will receive copies of your test results, along with a detailed care plan.

On-Going Care
Contrary to popular belief, chiropractic does not treat symptoms like pain, poor sleep, or limited motion. Chiropractic specifically treats subluxations of the spine, which happen throughout the daily activities of life. Since adjustments reduce nerve interference and subluxation, they clear the way for the human body to heal and function the way it was intended to. Under chiropractic, many people experience relief from the symptoms that they previously had, which were the body's alarm signal to tell them something was wrong. However, regular adjustments are part of a healthy style of living, and are important for preventing health problems caused by subluxation in the future. Subluxations are not always accompanied by noticeable symptoms until the problem has been there for years.

Dr. Moretti will periodically reassess the health of your spine, and continue to give you his updated recommendation for your ideal rhythm of care.
Frequently Asked

Do You Take Health Insurance?
No, we are a cash practice! This means we take credit card, cash, or check and do NOT bill insurance directly. However, we are happy to make you an itemized receipt that you can submit to your insurance company if you have out-of-network chiropractic coverage.
